The African Summit on Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ASENTI) is a platform for global entrepreneurship and innovation open to applicants from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Somalia, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Burundi.
ASENTI is a platform created to provide Innovators and Entrepreneurs from Africa to take stock of the achievements made in the ‘year of Entrepreneurship’ and as well provide a platform to interact with stakeholders and other players in the Industry. The theme of this year’s Summit will be “Africa Rethinking Innovation”.
Hosted in Africa’s United States International University, this platform provides a perfect interactive platform for people with interest in the areas of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This is the Second annual summit being held. The first Summit brought 350 delegates to Strathmore University last year.
The Summit is organized by Change Mind Change Future and I Inspire Youth Kenya among other partners. The Summit’s main goals are to create a platform which enhances idea sharing and interaction among sectors. It is meant to bring academics, professionals and practitioners in the field of entrepreneurship together and be a catalyst for innovation.
Participation is drawn from different countries in Africa, with speakers and facilitators drawn from across Africa.

Participants are welcome to apply for ASENTI Awards which recognizes exceptional performance in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Overall, ASENTI aims to provide an enabling platform for creation of 2000 businesses and established Innovations by 2020.
