Joachim Schoss

Founder, Scout24

Joachim was a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Scout24 along with several other businesses. The Scout24-Group, which he founded in 2002, became the market leader in the German-speaking region as a marketplace on the web for cars, real estate, finance, friends and jobs. He focuses now on philanthropic work and impact investing. He is the President of the charitable foundation MyHandicap and a board member of the Centre for Disability and Integration at the University St. Gallen, of the NZZ - Neue Zürcher Zeitung AG, of Goldbach group, Globalance Bank, the scientific online network Researchgate.net and several other young companies. Joachim studied business administration at the University of Hamburg and started a career as a management consultant. He was named Swiss Business Angel of the Year 2002 and received the Arosa Humorschaufel in 2010.
