I am passionate about

I am passionate about creativity and trying to think outside the box. I am also very impressed by people that not only dream of things, but get those things done. Cultural diversity is something that interests me and I am very happy to meet new people at OYW! After last OYW in Bangkok I got involved in Social Businesses and I am highly interested in social intrapreneurship. I am trying to change my company for the better and motivate our leadership to spend more time, money and thoughts on sustainable innovation. At the moment I am focussing on solutions to the refugee crisis within Europe. I am supporting an NGO called wefugees.org and try to help them with their business model, their marketing and their overall strategy. Prof Yunus theory of social business keeps me awake at night because I find it so easy to understand but so difficult to implement. So if there is anyone with the same issues also working in a corporation I am happy to align our thoughts. Looking forward to seeing you all in Ottawa!

Actions

I was a coach for a kids soccer team for some time. Since then I believe that children should be our role models when it comes to playfulness, creativity and openness to other cultures. During University I was head of a nationwide student organizsation that helped students connect with companies. Now I am looking forward to make a positive impact on how Germany treats their guests. At the moment I am focussing on solutions to the refugee crisis within Europe. I am supporting an NGO called wefugees.org and try to help them with their business model, their marketing and their overall strategy. Also I am trying to adress the matter of social business at Telefonica and find supporters and best practices across other regions and companies. I am eager to lern about other ways to help or other topics we as a large organisation can adress. Also I am trying to inform myself as much as I can about positive psychology and the theory of happiniess. What I learn I do apply, so I believe this has led to some very individual positive change :)
