Tijmen Rooseboom has been appointed as the Ambassador for Youth at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focusing on education and work.

Before this position Tijmen Rooseboom was Deputy Ambassador to Somalia and he worked for Dutch development bank FMO, the EU and the UN.
