The Opening Ceremony of the One Young World Summit 2015 will convey the diverse cultures of Thailand’s four regions.
Delegates will be welcomed on a flotilla of boats taking them to venues on the Chao Phraya River before the formal ceremony begins at Asiatique, an open-air cultural centre built on the site of Thailand’s first international port.
The river has been integral to Bangkok’s development. It is lined with ancient temples, modern architecture, and serves as a symbolic location for welcoming international guests.
The theme of the After Party is ‘Thai Ancient Markets’, where the 1,300 delegates will enjoy traditional markets from Thailand’s four regions.
