Youth Advisory Group at Solutions For Youth Employment (S4YE) By World Bank

Johan Chavez is a rural youth, farmer, and social entrepreneur from Colombia. With a background in agroindustrial engineering and specializations in food safety and agribusiness management, he is founder of BLUECROPS, supporting farmers with digital and technological tools.

 

Passionate about rural development, Johan leads initiatives like the Agricultural Youth Observatory, connecting resources and opportunities to rural youth. Currently, he is developing a Rural Incubator program supported by Swiss organizations.

 

Also since 2024 Johan is an NGIN Ambassador of Next Gen Agriculture Impact Network (NGIN), the global network of agricultural leaders supported by Bayer Crops Science. 

 

Also as former YouthLead Ambassador at USAID, he supported youth leaders and now serves on the Youth Advisory Group in the program Solutions For Youth Employment by the World Bank in the draft of policies and programs for youth.
