Nena Mocnik
Researcher, Educator and Author
Dr Nena Mocnik is a researcher and humanitarian aid worker, focusing on identity-based violence and collective traumas. She authors two monographs “Sexuality after War Rape: From Narrative to Embodied Research” (Routledge 2017) and “War-related Sexual Violence and Trauma Transmission: Reconciliation and Peacebuilding in Post-Conflict Settings” (Routledge 2020). She has designed and delivered numerous training courses and workshops in the field of prevention of sexual violence, human rights and social justice, promoting experiential learning and embodied cognition.
