Veronica Almedom is a Political scientist and Communication Specialist. With a cumulative work experience of over 5 years in the private sector, Veronica holds her degree from the University of Geneva. Since 2013, Veronica Almedom has been actively promoting the rule of law in Eritrea and supporting Eritrean asylum seekers in Switzerland. In January 2016, she was appointed as a member of the Swiss Federal Commission on migration by the highest executive body in Switzerland. She has been featured on various media platform for her outstanding humanitarian work. In 2018, she was recognized as a Peace Ambassador at One Young World. In 2020, Veronica founded PamojaTech a social media platform which aims to bridge the communication gap between governments and citizens in African countries by informing, educating at a large scale and increasing visibility on the performance of elected officials. Veronica and her team are now on the ground working on the deployment of the mobile application.
