Amoq Pacha, founded in 2009, is an environmental organization lead by youths.
The main activity is doing Community Garden Skills in gardens, roof tops, and whatever surface available in cities, this is also known as Urban Agriculture. This is an "all in one" solution because, as example, when I seed and harvest one lettuce I am ending food shortage, reducing 129,8 grams of CO2 emissions and I am offering an opportunity to youth to stay away from violence and drugs. By this time the organization has harvested more than 600 lettuces and cauliflowers.
The second activity is about youth entrepreneurship. They give teenagers tools to develop their own talents to express their-self in a pacific, as example they have had workshops of photography and screen-painting, organized youth festivals, hip hop festivals and contest for young skaters.
