Peer Educator, Plan International YHP
Julian is a Peer Educator with Plan International Kenya - YHP. Through the Young Health Programme she goes to schools to talk to young people about non-communicable diseases risk behaviours – unhealthy diets, physical inactivity, harmful use of alcohol and tobacco use. She also conducts outreaches targeting young people with information on risky sexual behaviours. Through theatre, she has been able to disseminate health issues in the community through community outreach programmes where traditional dances have been utilised to increase engagement.
