At One Young World we are committed to making sure that the most impactful, innovative young leaders of our time comprise the One Young World Community.
We only develop and support young leaders who can demonstrate a proactive commitment to making a positive impact on their communities. This means we look for people who are doing the best they can, within their individual circumstances, to improve the lives of others, no matter their field of interest or expertise.
We are not just inclusive, we proactively welcome diversity - across every country and every sector. That’s why our year-round scholarships programme gives young people the opportunity to attend our Summit entirely free, regardless of their financial situation and gain lifetime membership to our Ambassador Community.
The scholarship covers:
- all travel to and from the Summit
- visa costs and support
- catering and accomodation
- access to our Digital Summit
- complimentary social return on investment (SROI) analysis
- free access to regional events
- free personalised year-round support from our Community Team.
A total of 630 scholars will attend One Young World 2022 Manchester.
We directly fund scholarships and we deliver more scholarships with support from governments and businesses and civil society, including grassroots organisations who work on the ground in remote (and often overlooked) communities, to ensure we have the broadest possible representation.
