His Excellency Mansour Al Mansouri serves as the Director General of the UAE National Media Council. Since he joined the National Media Council in May 2015, he has focused on advancing the UAE’s media sector and elevating the country’s regional and international public engagement. Al Mansouri has been working to strengthen the National Media Council's role as the federal entity responsible for regulating the media sector in the UAE. He has created a robust environment to develop the UAE’s media and digital communications capacities and capabilities, and he also provides strategic communications guidance to government authorities in line with the UAE vision.

Al Mansouri is among the top young personalities in leadership roles in the UAE, and among his several important positions and significant personal tasks, he is a member of the Board of Image Nation Abu Dhabi. Al Mansouri holds a Master's degree in Strategic Security Studies and National Resources Management from the National Defense College in the UAE, and completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Science from University of Toledo, Ohio. He holds several specialised certificates, including leadership certificates from London Business School (LBS), UK, Innovation Strategy Leadership from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), US, and International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Switzerland.
