Hosted by our longstanding partner, Allen & Overy, we invited all Ambassadors and Delegates based in the Netherlands to participate in this exciting launch event for the 2023 One Young World Summit in Belfast. The evening will feature great opportunities to meet and network with fellow young leaders in the One Young World Community, some old friends from previous One Young World Summits, and some new faces fortunate to be attending this year in Belfast.

Naz is a social entrepreneur with a long history of social impact. She champions a fair, safe and sustainable fashion industry as founder of 2050. 2050's clothing collection is produced in the company's own factory in Amsterdam, by a team of highly-skilled tailors with a refugee background.
Robin Spierings - Program Manager, The Sustainable Flight Challenge
In her capacity as a Program Manager at KLM, Robin is responsible for increasing the speed of innovation on sustainability throughout the aviation industry. The Sustainable Flight Challenge, in particular, aims to open-source innovations to make air travel more sustainable.
Marek Kubik - Managing Director & Founding Member, Fluence
Fluence is a company seeking to solve intermittency issues around renewable energy. Fluctuations in the generation of renewable electricity mean that surplus energy needs to be stored somewhere to maintain a consistent supply. Innovative hardware and software products such as those made by Fluence help renewables compete with and displace fossil fuel-based power.
Hilde van der Baan - Parter, Allen & Overy
Hilde is an Amsterdam partner and co-head of A&O’s pro bono and community investment programme. She specialises in international arbitration and corporate and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on projects, energy and construction arbitration. She has represented clients in numerous national and international arbitrations under various institutional rules.
