The Hack-a-Thon takes place on Friday 28th July 2023 at Absa offices in Johannesburg as well as online. The Hack is aimed at empowering Ambassadors and organizations to solve for some of Southern Africa's most pressing challenges.

The Southern Africa Hack-a-Thon aims to bring together passionate change-makers doing the work of a decade for the Sustainable Development Goals by investigating four key themes to work together to solve for a positive and shared future for Southern Africa.

This event, hosted by the One Young World Southern Africa and Absa will provide opportunities for solutions and engagement on how Ambassadors within the region can take action.

Based on the One Young World Summit 2023 plenary challenges, and high-priority topics for the Southern Africa community, the Hack will focus on: Youth Unemployment, Education, Intrapreneurship and Social Entrepreneurship.

He is the Founder & MD of Pavilion POS – a procurement & services business focused on mining & manufacturing sectors.

He is also the Founder & MD of B.I.G PO Finance, a purchase order and invoice financing company which funds marginalised SMEs in the mining, manufacturing and energy sectors including selected State-Owned Enterprises.

We provide pro Bono legal services where this is necessary.
