Kiribati
Rae has been coordinating a relief campaign to transport clean water to residents in Kiribati. Residents on one of Kiribati's islands say they've been without fresh water for three months and have resorted to drinking, bathing and cooking with contaminated water from a small cave. Rae, director of the Kiribati Aoteroa Diaspora Directorate, has been a key coordinator in providing humanitarian relief.

The Challenge is an annual online tech-entrepreneurship competition for young people across Europe who compete for the competition’s £10,000 Grand Prize, which also includes funding, mentorship and a technology package. OYW Co-Founder Kate Robertson was of the Grand Final judges.
