Mohammed Foboi is a recent graduate of IE University in Madrid with a Master in International Relations. He has been a peace and youth activist since age 8. Mohammed is former regional coordinator at UNOY Peacebuilders for West and Central Africa where he worked with 29 youth-led organizations in 12 countries and engaged the African Union, ECOWAS the UN and other national stakeholders for the youth, peace and security agenda, mainly UN Security Council Resolution 2250. Mohammed is the founder and executive director of LIFT Liberia, a youth- led peacebuilding organization with more than 200 members that runs peace clubs in high schools, community peace forums, a library and a youth-led media program that highlights the activities of young people in their communities on peacebuilding and conflict resolution. He is most passionate about a peaceful, a just and an inclusive society that dignifies the lives of the world’s inhabitants.
