Christine is an accomplished urban planner specialising in master plans for newly developed cities, holding a degree in Physical Planning and GIS certifications. She founded Caring Hands Centre, a mental health NGO focusing on the intersection of mental health, loss, and damage related to climate change.
With extensive business development experience and leadership in mapping initiatives such as Malawi Mappers and the Malawi OpenStreetMap Community, Christine has made significant strides in promoting collaborative mapping and data use. Her commitment to sustainable urban planning and climate justice, reinforced by attending the Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice, positions her as a leader in smart city development and climate resilience in Malawi and beyond.
