Farhana Shahnaz

Development practitioner, One Young World Ambassador

Farhana Shahnaz is a development practitioner with an academic background in Economics, Development Studies, and International Relations. She currently works as a Content Manager for the World Food Programme, supporting the development,  preparation, execution, and dissemination of campaigns for target audiences. In particular, Farhana has contributed towards resource mobilisation efforts, helping to bridge the funding shortfall for the general food assistance for the Rohingya refugees. In her previous role with the UNDP, Farhana worked as a Communications Officer for a project focusing on preventing violent extremism (PVE) and fostering inclusivity and peace.
