Founder at Fish For All Niger

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a keen eye for impactful ventures, Oumarou Issa has  dedicated his learning journey and career to leading projects that drive substantial social change.  He studied Business Administration with a concentration in project management and seized this  opportunity as a freshmen to help organize the first two ever TEDx events in Niger namely TEDxVillageDelaFrancophonie and TEDxADU. Two events that impacted 400+ individuals and  organizations driven by the ‘Power of Resilience’ and a ‘Passion for Excellence’.  

As the visionary mind behind initiatives such as Fish for All, Oumarou endeavors to revolutionize  the fishing industry by not only increasing production but also empowering young individuals to  become catalysts for community development. 

His commitment to social transformation extends beyond Fish for All. Oumarou is a co-founder  of the LANtarki association and played an active role in designing and implementing the Sahel  Solar Academy, LANTarki’s first project, pilote program aimed at making solar energy a driver  of social development in rural Subsaharan Africa. Through these endeavors, Oumarou strives to  foster sustainable development and uplift disadvantaged communities. 

Moreover, as a founding member of the NGO SecondeChance, Oumarou champions initiatives  aimed at eradicating poverty, enhancing healthcare accessibility, and promoting agricultural  advancements. His multifaceted approach to community development reflects a deep-seated belief  in the power of collective action and grassroots movements.
