Hosted by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus and organized by Yunus Centre, Dhaka, Social Business Day is an annual gathering that celebrates the groundbreaking idea of social business and highlights emerging developments from all over the world. This year your local host is the Yunus Center at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), supported by the Yunus Social Business Center Kasetsart University (YCKU) and the Thailand Social Business Initiative (TSBI).
About Social Business Day
Social Business Day is the world’s largest gathering of the Social Business community. It brings together leading experts and representatives from academia, business, civil society and government, to share ideas and experiences with innovators, change leaders and aspiring social business entrepreneurs. In addition to the inspiring plenaries with thought leaders, delegates can choose from a rich mix of interactive plenary sessions and workshops that broaden understanding in specific areas of interest and connects them to the growing social business network.
This year's theme is "Making Money is Happiness, Making Other People Happy is Super Happiness".
What can you expect?
- Speakers and guests are trailblazers in the field of social business and entrepreneurship, who will explore in depth their understanding of Social Business as a unique enterprise-led development approach that can make Earth a better place. Featured speakers and special guests will be introduced here.

- The annual Pre-Conference of the Social Business Academia Network is scheduled for 29 June 29, 2019, where preparations will be finalized for this year’s Social Business Academia Conference in November 2019.
