Aigerim Fazylova
Delegate Speaker for the Conflict Prevention Plenary Challenge
Aigerim Fazylova has over 10 years of experience in the area of peace building, conflict resolution, tackling disinformation across the EMEA region. Having worked in the UNHCR and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) - OSCE Office of Representative on Freedom of the Media (OSCE RFoM) and OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) - Aigerim explored Internet and media policies aimed at addressing disinformaiton in current events such as the escalating crisis in and around Ukraine and analyzed conduct of media and Internet shutdowns during OSCE/ODIHR's election observation missions in a number of post-conflict countries in the CIS region. As a senior advisor, Aigerim Fazylova also provided strategic counseling to the world's largest tech companies on key policy profiles such as the DSA (Digital Services Act), online content regulation, election integrity, and trust & safety across the EMEA region. Previously, she advised senior management on digital policy experience in the German Bundestag, Polish Parliament, and the US Embassy. She is also a Head of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Warsaw Hub where she leads about 30 exceptional youth community leaders driving the social impact projects locally and across the CEE region.
