Nousheen Nower Zoarder
Lead, Climate Change Research and Advocacy Unit (CCRAU) at the Youth Policy Forum (YPF)
Nousheen is an early-stage researcher interested in the nexus of climate policies, human mobilities, and multi-level governance. She has worked in the climate advocacy and international development sectors since 2011. She has worked at different capacities at Bangladesh Youth Environmental Initiative, United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, The Queen’s Young Leaders Programme, and One Young World, International Institute of Environment and Development, and Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS). She holds an LLB (Honors) from the University of Dhaka and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford. She has set up the Climate Change Research and Advocacy Unit (CCRAU) at Youth Policy Forum, a Bangladesh-based policy advocacy organization. The Unit functions through three workstreams: primary data collection, advocacy, and policy research support to Parliamentarians on issues relating to climate change and migration, thereby influencing evidence-based policymaking.
