Individuals attending the Summit are responsible for ensuring they have all the information needed pertaining to their circumstances for travel and applicable to their nationality or country of residence, and that the information submitted for the visa application and any transit visas needed is, to the best of their knowledge, accurate and reliable at the time of submission.
Processing times for Canadian visa applications can be as high as 150 days, with this in mind it is extremely important that you submit your completed visa application as soon as you are notified of your selection to attend the Summit.
Please read this guide carefully when completing your application and contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
Which visa do I need to apply for?
Depending on your nationality, you will need either a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to travel to Canada.
U.S citizens and lawful permanent residents of the U.S can travel to Canada without a visa. U.S citizens must carry a valid U.S passport while permanent U.S residents must carry their valid passport and their valid green card (or equivalent valid proof of status in the United States).
Please use this tool to determine whether you need a TRV or eTA to travel to Canada.
Once you have established which visa type you will need, please read the relevant sections of this guide for important guidance on the application process.
