The following information is provided as a form of guidance only. It is your responsibility to check that you are able to comply with the visa and COVID-19 regulations of each country to travel through on your way to the UK and on your return. Failure to meet the requirements may result in your being refused boarding by your airline.
Australia
Travellers do not require a pre-departure COVID-19 test to enter or transit Australia regardless of their COVID-19 vaccination status.
As of 6 July 2022, travellers to Australia will no longer have to complete a Digital Passenger Declaration if arriving by air, or a Maritime Travel Declaration if arriving by sea, and there is no requirement to declare or prove your vaccination status for entry to Australia.
However, states and territories can apply their own travel restrictions on travellers arriving from international and domestic locations. You should check requirements for the state or territory in which you will arrive. Border rules can change quickly. Travellers should prepare for disruptions to their plans.

Barbados
You are required to complete the online Immigration and Customs Travel Form, which will be available 72 hours prior to your arrival in Barbados. You must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR test when completing the form. You can complete the form at a time and place convenient for you. Once the form is completed, the Immigration and Customs receipt, will be sent to the email that you provided in the form. Please save the receipts to your mobile device or print, for presentation to Immigration and Customs, upon arrival.

Belgium
As of 23 May 2022, no specific requirements for travellers transiting in Belgium. Only persons travelling from a very high risk country to Belgium still need to follow measures however there are currently no countries classified as very high risk.

Brazil
Brazilians and foreigners must present proof of complete vaccination against Covid-19 to the airline at the time of boarding.
Unvaccinated travellers must provide proof of an antigen test or RT-PCR, with a negative result for Covid-19, held the day before departure,

Canada
During your connection at the Canadian airport you must remain in the secure transit area to complete your connection. This means that you won’t be allowed to collect your baggage, or check-in for your next flight anywhere but at your scheduled gate of departure.
You’re exempt from testing and quarantine requirements, as long as you remain in the secure transit area to complete your connection within 24 hours.
If you want to leave the secure transit area due to a flight cancellation or delay, you must be eligible to enter Canada.
Travellers who are in transit to another country and will not leave the secure area at the airport will not need to submit their information through ArriveCAN.

Colombia
Between 24 hours and 1 hour before departure, you must fill out the ‘Check-Mig’ form (https://apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co/pre-registro/public/preregistro.jsf), available on the Migración Colombia website. You will receive a confirmation email that you will need to present upon arrival in Colombia.
Surgical masks must be used by all passengers above 2 years of age throughout the journey, from entering the air terminal, during the flight and at the port of arrival. N95 masks (and their equivalents) are recommended.
If you’re fully vaccinated, you can enter Colombia without needing to test or quarantine for flight arrivals. You must carry evidence of your vaccination status.
Foreign nationals who have started but not completed their vaccination scheme, have had their final dose less than 14 days before travel or are unvaccinated will be able to enter Colombia showing proof of a negative PCR or Antigen test issued no later than 72 hours prior to boarding.

There are no COVID-19 related requirements regarding test or self-isolation when entering Denmark.

You don't need e-Visa for transit flights. If you want to go out from the permitted transit area of the Airport to visit Addis Ababa for some time, you need to get Transit Visa at the Airport. Passengers age 12 and over who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 more than two weeks before the date of entry are required to show evidence of this. Accepted vaccinations are a single dose of Johnson and Johnson, or two doses for Astra-Zeneca, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Moderna and Pfizer.
If you’re not fully vaccinated, you’ll need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 RT PCR test result issued within the 72 hours (3 days) before departure, or a rapid lateral flow test up to 24 hours before arriving in Ethiopia. A lateral flow test must be certified by a testing centre and not self administered.

Fiji
You must present proof that you have been fully vaccinated to enter Fiji. All visitors to Fiji must be fully vaccinated, this includes Fijian citizens.
Effective 1 May 2022, fully vaccinated visitors to Fiji will no longer be required to produce a pre-arrival negative COVID-19 test prior to entry.

As of 1 July 2022, people travelling to Finland from the UK or other countries outside the EU/EEA will no longer be required to present a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination. More information here.

From 1 August 2022, all COVID-19 travel restrictions for travellers to France have been lifted.

Germany
As of 1 June the requirements to register before entry, provide a negative test result and to quarantine only applies to travellers who have stayed in an area of variant of concern. There are no countries currently classified as areas of variant concern.

Ireland
From Sunday 6 March 2022, travellers to Ireland are not required to show proof of vaccination, proof of recovery or a negative PCR test result upon arrival.
There are no post-arrival testing or quarantine requirements for travellers to Ireland.
Any individual that develops COVID-19 symptoms while in Ireland should follow the HSE guidance in relation to isolation and undertaking antigen or PCR testing as appropriate.

Kenya
Transit visas are required for passengers connecting through Kenya to other destinations for a period not exceeding 72 hours. Those connecting to flights directly without leaving the airport don't need to apply for Transit visas. More information here.
Most unvaccinated individuals cannot enter Kenya.
All travellers arriving in Kenya must complete a COVID-19 Travellers Health Surveillance Form before their arrival, even if only transiting. The online registration form can be found on the “Jitenge” platform (https://ears.health.go.ke/airline_registration/), accessible via the following link or the “Jitenge” App (available on the Google Play Store).
All passengers over 18 arriving in Kenya must present proof of vaccination against COVID19. Vaccinated travellers are not required to take a PCR test before travelling to Kenya.
You must upload your vaccine certificate to the Global Haven website (https://globalhaven.org/) before boarding your flight. You should be prepared to present a printed or digital copy of the Global Haven confirmation certificate when travelling.
You may need a yellow fever certificate when entering Kenya from certain destinations. Check whether you need a yellow fever certificate by visiting the National Travel Health Network and Centre’s TravelHealthPro website. More information here.
Mexico
There are no COVID-19 specific transit requirements regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.
Morocco
Moroco's COVID-19 entry requirements do not apply to travelers in transit to Morocco. They are required to comply with the health requirements of their final destination country.

Netherlands
You may transit in the Netherlands only if one of the following applies to you:
- You are travelling from a safe country/region where the risk of contracting COVID-19 is low.
- You have been fully vaccinated.
- You are travelling through the Netherlands to a non-EU/Schengen country. You must prove that you have a connecting flight to a country outside the Schengen area. The connecting flight must depart within 48 hours of your arrival in the Netherlands. You must not leave the airport’s international transit zone in this period. Please note: the United Kingdom (UK) is not part of the EU/Schengen area.
If you transfer/transit in the Netherlands, or if the Netherlands is your final destination, you do not need to show a negative COVID-19 test result on arrival in the Netherlands.
From 20 April 2022 0.01 onwards you do not need to complete a health declaration form if you travel to the Netherlands by air.

New Zealand
You may need a NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) before you travel.
Most travellers must complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration and be issued a travel pass before flying to New Zealand. More information here.

If you transit through New Zealand, you do not need to be vaccinated or complete the New Zealand Traveller Declaration.

Panama
You do not need a visa to transit through Panama if you will not be leaving the airport.
ALL travelers are required to present their completed Electronic Health Affidavit (in physical or digital form) to their airline or carrier BEFORE boarding to Panama. Register and fill out your form here https://viajes.panamadigital.gob.pa/
Travelers will not have to present a negative COVID-19 test for entry as long as they can provide physical or digital proof of at least 2 (two) doses or complete vaccination scheme endorsed by the WHO, EMA and FDA, equal to or greater than 14 days after the last dose.
Non-vaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers will be required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken no more than 72 hours prior to their arrival time in Panama.
Philippines
Nationals of most countries can enter Philippines without a visa.
You must register for the Philippines Health Pass 72 hours before your flight to Manila. If you have have not received a booster jab in addition to your COVID-19 vaccination you must also take and upload a negative PCR test taken 48 hours before your departure or a negative lateral flow test taken with 24 hours of departure. Portugal
Passengers entering national territory (including Azores and Madeira) are no longer required to present proof of carrying out a test to screen for SARS-CoV-2 infection with a negative result or to present a COVID-EU digital certificate or vaccination or recovery certificate issued by third countries, accepted or recognized in Portugal.

Passengers who are transiting through Doha, and not leaving the airport, are not required to present any test results or certifications above the requirements of their departure or destination country. More information here.
Singapore
Foreigners transiting in Singapore will not require visas if they remain within the transit area of Changi Airport (Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4) and do not pass through Singapore Immigration. More information here.
Transit travellers do not need proof of vaccination, COVID-19 tests, travel visas or entry approvals.
Travellers who intend to clear arrival immigration to enter Singapore, or booked flights which require them to enter Singapore to collect tickets or baggage and check-in again for the connecting flight, are not considered transit travellers. Several Low Cost Carriers require travellers to clear immigration to collect their onward connecting tickets in the Departure Check-In hall. Such travellers should ensure that they fulfil all requirements found on the “Travelling to Singapore”. More information here.
South Africa
Travelers transiting through the following international airports are exempted from/do not have to be in possession of transit visas, but will be subjected to biometric capturing directly at the airport:
OR Tambo International;
Cape Town International;
King Shaka; and
Lanseria (Johannesburg)
South Africa has lifted its coronavirus travel restrictions. You no longer need to present proof of vaccination status, or a PCR test. You may need to complete a health form to enter South Africa.
Spain
If you are transiting Spain on the way to your final destination you are not subject to testing requirements nor do you need to complete a Travel Health Control form, provided your transit is under 24 hours and you are not leaving the international zone of the airport. More information here.
Thailand
In line with Thailand Government regulations, if you're transiting between international flights in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, your itinerary must be booked on the same ticket and you must not leave the transiting area and enter Thailand. You must check with your destination country government requirements to ensure transiting via Thailand is permitted. International travellers transiting through Thailand (lay-over time not exceeding 24 hours / through-check luggage only / cannot leave transit area / final destination is outside of Thailand) do not need to register for Thailand Pass, but are required to have the following documents:
A valid travel insurance policy to cover medical expenses in Thailand with a minimum coverage of US$10,000; and
Proof of either a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test issued (in English or Thai) within 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point or vaccination certificate.
This excludes travellers transiting without leaving the aircraft.
Trinidad and Tobago
Effective 1st July, 2022, COVID-19 PCR or Lab Acquired Antigen Test results will No Longer be required for entry into Trinidad and Tobago. More information here.
Turkey
Travelers need a transit visa for Turkey if they will leave the airport. Transit passengers who wish to visit the city must have a visa, even if they will only stay for a few hours. More information here.
As of 1 June, all COVID-19 restrictions in Turkey have been lifted, and passengers arriving in Turkey are no longer required to present proof of vaccination or negative PCR test results. However, COVID-19 entry requirements may change at short notice, you should check the specifics with your airline before you travel. United Arab Emirates
If you are not one of the nationalities that are eligible for visa on arrival or a visa-free entry to the UAE, then you need a transit visa.
Only the UAE based-airlines you are travelling through can arrange your transit visa prior to your journey. If your trip is through a travel agency, the agency can also help you get the visa, but all visas are routed through the airline.

Transiting passengers are not required to present a COVID -19 RT-PCR test certificate unless it is mandated by their final destination. More information here.
USA
You must be fully vaccinated with the primary series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine to travel to the United States by plane if you are a non-U.S. citizen, non-U.S. immigrant (not a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or traveling to the United States on an immigrant visa).
If you are a non-U.S. citizen, non-U.S. immigrant and not fully vaccinated, you will not be allowed to board a flight to the United States. Only limited exceptions apply to the requirement to show proof of vaccination. A booster dose is not needed to meet this requirement. More information here.
