Beyond representing 40.3% of the population in Costa Rica, young people are the engine of change and innovation in our society. Understanding this role, the Vice-Ministry of Youth wants to recognise those efforts and/or initiatives that are effecting change.
The objective of the award is to recognise the contribution of a person or an organisation whose actions have had a positive impact on society by creating and improving opportunities for young people.
The award is established in the following categories:
1. Health and well-being
2. Education
3. Culture
4. Environment
5. Social Justice
6. Innovation, Science and Technology
7. Employability
8. Recreation

Más allá de representar el 40,3% de la población en Costa Rica, las personas jóvenes son el motor del cambio y la innovación en nuestra sociedad. Entendiendo ese rol de agentes de cambio, el Viceministerio de Juventud quiere hacer un aporte desde lo simbólico para dar a conocer aquellos esfuerzos y/o iniciativas que están marcando una diferencia.
El objectivo del premio es reconocer y visibilizar el aporte de una persona u organización cuyas acciones que han logrado un impacto positivo en la sociedad creando y mejorando oportunidades para personas jóvenes.
El premio se establece en las siguientes categorías
1. Salud y bienestar
2. Educación
3. Cultura
4. Ambiente
5. Justicia Social
6. Innovación, Ciencia y Tecnología
7. Empleabilidad
8. Recreación
