National Boards

About One Young World National Boards

One Young World National Boards are senior local missions of One Young World, contributing to the development, promotion and protection of the One Young World Movement in their nation, supporting the local community of One Young World Ambassadors.

 

One Young World National Boards ensure that all sectors work together towards the identification and promotion of their nation's most talented young leaders in their countries, in accordance with the One Young World Charter.

 

Each One Young World National Board is led by a Chair and composed of board members from a diverse range of backgrounds and areas of expertise.

 

To date, One Young World National Boards have been established in Belize, Brazil, Colombia, Japan, Switzerland and Thailand.

Benefits of One Young World National Board Membership

  • One Young World National Board members play a leading role in the One Young World global movement.

     

  • One Young World National Board members are at the forefront of inspiring and engaging the next generation of leaders, and are able to harness global attention and resources in support of the young leaders' work.

Responsibilities of One Young World National Boards

  • Identifying and recommending young leaders for One Young World scholarship programmes.

     

  • Assisting the One Young World Movement to promote scholarship opportunities to attend the annual One Young World Summit.

     

  • Organising a national send-off event for Delegates who are attending the annual One Young World Summit.

     

  • Contributing to the development and promotion of the One Young World Movement.
